Rodney S. Ferguson CLU®, CHFC ®

Rod Ferguson is principal and founder of Ferguson Financial Group, L.L.C. Rod Ferguson is a District Agent for The New York Life Insurance Company. Rod’s specialties include working with small business owners, retirees and professionals in the area of estate, business succession, retirement and risk management planning.  
 
Rod is a member agent of The Nautilus Group which is a service of New York Life Insurance Company and is a Financial Adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC. He is a Life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) which is recognized throughout the industry as the standard of excellence in life insurance sales performance.  He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers (NAIFA), and is currently Chairman of the New York Life Agency Support Committee as well as a Board Member for the New York Life District Agency.
 
 
 
Personal Background: Rod grew up in South St. Louis County Missouri. Rod attended Duke University and the University of San Diego where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Minor in Finance. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Rod lives in West St. Louis County Missouri and has two daughters Kelsey and Shannon. Rod is active in varsity sports with his daughters; he is involved in numerous charitable organizations, active in his church and spends his spare time on his Cattle Ranch.

 

 

 

Wayne L. Rector, LUTCF

Wayne entered the Insurance and Financial Services industry in 2002.  Prior to this he was in the Health Insurance Industry for 11 years.  His focus is in three primary areas; Estate Conservation, Wealth accumulation strategies and Personal Insurance.  Wayne's goal is to develop a partnership with his clients to establish a long term financial strategy that makes sense for each individuals goals and objectives.

 

 

 

 

 Al Sampson*

 Al, a New York Life agent, joined FFG in 2005. Prior to joining FFG he was chairman and secretary of a large 401(k) plan for a local company. He is always willing to make time for new and existing clients, no matter how big or small. Al is married to Lisa and has 3 young daughters, Kristen, Kayla, and Emily. He is President of the School Board at St. Joachim Catholic School. He also likes to play golf and talk sports to anyone who will listen.

 

 

 

  David B. Martin*

  In joining FFG as an agent for New York Life Dave brings 30 plus years of experience from the chemical, environmental,construction and automotive industries.  Dave works with individuals and business owners, small or large, in retirement planning.  Dave and his wife Sherry have two daughters, Caitlin and Emily, that are currently in College.  The whole family is active in their church where Sherry is the Sunday school director and Dave is the chairman of the building committee that is planning a new church facility. 

 

 

Scott Talbert*

 

  Scott joined FFG in the first quarter of 2009. As an agent he works toward developing strong relationships with clients & servicing their financial needs. Scott focuses his time on building the right strategy for each individual client. Key areas include: helping to enhance retirement security, ¹tax advantaged strategies, and family protection/lifestyle planning. Scott and his wife Rachel reside in South County Saint Louis .

Robert V. Ponciroli, CLU®*

 

Rob Ponciroli is a Sales Manager for Ferguson Financial Group, LLC, a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC and an agent with The New York Life Insurance Company. Rob holds a Chartered Life Underwriter designation from The American College.

Since 1991, Rob has provided coordinated wealth management services to business owners, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations. His specialties include risk management/insurance protection, business planning/exit strategies, estate planning/wealth transfer, and asset allocation/retirement planning. Rob’s mission is to help clients crystallize their dreams, fund un-funded liabilities and navigate through the financial anxieties that complicate their life.

Prior to 1991, Rob was a cost accountant and a mortgage loan officer. He grew up in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood, attended DeSmet Jesuit High where he was a player on a state basketball championship team, and received a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Rob and his wife Susan live in University City, MO where they are active in numerous charitable organizations.
